Aston Martin has shared images of its new factory on social media. A timelapse shows how the base is slowly beginning to take shape.

The new factory will consist of three buildings including simulator and wind tunnel. The building will act as the beating heart of Aston Martin. The factory is scheduled to be completed in late 2022 or early 2023. The cost is between 150 and 200 million pounds.

Competing for the world title

The team has big plans for the future. In recent years, the Aston Martin team has been known by various names, including Force India and Racing Point. Thanks to the financial support of Lawrence Stroll there is optimism within the team that they can compete at the top in the future. In previous seasons the team performed above expectations on a small budget.

Last season, however, was one to forget, but the team focused on 2022. It was recently announced that Aston Martin is losing both team owner Otmar Szafnauer and major sponsor BWT. Who will replace Szafnauer is still unknown, but in the meantime, the team will continue to work on the plan to become world champions.
