New layout at Albert Park, Verstappen and Hamilton have their say on GP
- GPblog.com
The Australian Grand Prix was an annual race in Formula 1 until the coronavirus. In 2022, the Grand Prix returns after two cancellations in 2020 and 2021 with a brand new look. In a mini-series, the race's organizers showcase the changes.
More spectacle in Australia
Albert Park has remained unchanged for many years. From its entry in 1996, virtually nothing has been changed at the track. For the 2022 race, things will be different. Many changes have been made that should improve the spectacle and ensure that overtaking on the track is easier.
The series shows how the organizers and track designers came up with the changes and how they were made. In addition to the organizers, Lewis Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen also shed their light on the Australian Grand Prix.
Mini-series Albert Park
The mini-series on YouTube will consist of four episodes. On January 31, the second part is expected and the first lap will be driven on the new layout of the track in Melbourne.
