Max Verstappen and Gianni Vecchio are good friends and teammates at TeamRedline. The two drivers have done a simrace together again a while back, choosing an oval. Verstappen was six hundredths of a second short of pole position in qualifying, which he couldn't understand. When he then also sees that Vecchio has put a faster time on the clock, it is all over.
Giassi stoked the fire by saying he was faster than the reigning world champion. Verstappen reacts to that in his own way: "You wait in the race when I'll clap you into the wall."
