Bizarre scenes in United States: NASCAR driver does 'the Mike Tyson'
- GPblog.com
Extraordinary scenes in NASCAR on Saturday. Andrew Grady got into a fight with Davey Callihan after an incident when there were three laps to go in the first stage. Grady hit the wall in turn two and then went for redress in a not too friendly manner. With about six punches, he started to slam into Callihan.
Response from Grady
“He flipped me off, so I started Mike Tysoning his head. At the end of the day, we were really really good. The car was really fast but you get these dumbasses that come in here and run with us. And they have no business running a late model, much less a lawnmower. He wasn’t close, he dive-bombed me. He hooked me and wrecked Brandon Pierce in the process. I wanted to talk to him and he flipped me off so I started Mike Tysoning his head," Grady told Matt Weaver.
Reaction from Callihan
“Me and the #1 car had a bit of an issue getting into [turn] one there. I felt like I was inside enough there for him to give him a little more room than he did. He kinda pinched me down there and I just didn’t give an inch. You gotta fight for your life, for a transfer spot to get in the show. Unfortunately, we locked tires and it wheel hopped me onto him. It is what it is. Obviously, he wasn’t too pumped on it. So, he decided to throw a few shots inside the car," Callihan told Race 22.
