Norris slips up during livestream: 'That's when Lewis won his eighth'

A slip of the tongue can always happen, but McLaren's Lando Norris was very embarrassed by the slip of the tongue he made during a livestream on Twitch. Indeed, the Briton almost reopened another controversial discussion in F1's recent history.
Norris talks about eighth title Hamilton
During the livestream, the Brit explains which racing helmets are set behind him. When he gets to the helmet he was probably wearing at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, he says while pointing: "I have this one here, it's from when Lewis won his eighth world championship..." The Brit then dives out of the picture and does not resurface for at least 15 seconds. You can see the clip below.
The eighth title is a sore point for many Hamilton fans after the spectacular end to the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Max Verstappen then cruised to victory on the last lap, beating the Briton. Anyone can slip up, but Norris probably knows what a cesspool he could open up with this little mistake. Incidentally, it could also be a practical joke by Norris. The driver is known for being fun-loving on the internet.
