Red Bull Racing team boss and CEO Christian Horner can always be found at the pit wall during Formula 1 weekends, where he keeps an eye on how his drivers are doing with headphones on. This time was a little different, as the Englishman got behind the wheel of the Red Bull car himself. Beforehand, the team boss seemed a bit nervous, but watch Horner's performance in the RB7 here.
The car in which team boss Horner drove was Sebastian Vettel's old car in which he raced in Formula 1. Mid-2024 traditionally hosted the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Horner drove the RB8 here. Red Bull celebrated 20 years in Formula 1 this year, and so the Austrian formation turned out.
The team boss drove up the well-known Goodwood Hill at the festival. It was his first time behind the wheel of a Formula One car since 1993. Some time ago, in other words. Horner also tested another Formula One car as a 'shakedown' at Silverstone. This was the RB7. That footage too can be seen in the video above.
