Marko is visibly disappointed with the decision to cancel GP Australia
There will be few people in the Formula 1 paddock on Friday who were happy with the fact that no Grand Prix will be held this weekend. However, there will also be a few people who are dissatisfied. Helmut Marko is on the latter end of the scale.
Marko was already a spokesman for both Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri arguably the biggest advocate for the race to continue. It looked like that until late at night from Thursday to Friday, but eventually, a few teams changed their minds and the party didn't go through.
Red Bull eventually had as its only supporter, which is not enough to start the race. This would have required at least twelve cars and thus six teams. Marko is visibly disappointed with this in almost every interview.
