Watch: Leclerc, Albon, Russell & co practice (and crash) for virtual Grand Prix!
- GPblog.com
The virtual Vietnam Grand Prix is on the schedule for Sunday evening. No less than six current Formula 1 drivers will participate in the event, and all six decided to get some practice in together on Saturday evening.
Charles Leclerc (and his brother Arthur), Alex Albon, Lando Norris, Antonio Giovinazzi, George Russell and Nicholas Latifi were all in the same session to practice. The group decided to practice at Albert Park, host of the Australian Grand Prix, since the Vietnam Grand Prix track is not yet in the official F1 game.
They soon agreed that a race had to take place as well besides practice, and this caused a lot of hilarious moments like the video above!
Russell, who only just started as a simracer, was at the heart of many incidents.

Here we see the young Brit spinning after a brave overtaking move on Albon, and Russell hilariously decided to get back at his friend later in the session!
Things you never saw in the 2018 @FIA_F2 title race...@GeorgeRussell63 runs out of fuel and side-swipes @alex_albon on the penultimate corner!

It was a great evening as a fan to watch. Let's hope tonight will be just as much fun! Besides the official stream, we also recommend to stream of one of the drivers' live feeds for their immediate reaction to whatever takes place!
