VIDEO | Red Bull looks back: Verstappen's mechanics perform miracle in Imola

Red Bull Racing's mechanics were in the spotlight last year for their amazing performance after the crash in Hungary, but today Red Bull have also looked back at a fantastic piece of work from the mechanics during qualifying for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Red Bull mechanics perform miracle
Max Verstappen has seen his mechanics work miracles before, but ahead of the race at Imola, Red Bull's engineers have taken a look back at their performance in 2020. At the start of Q2, Verstappen came in cursing and raving about an electrical problem with the engine.
In a job that would normally take fifteen minutes, Red Bull's mechanics managed to do it in less than ten, meaning Verstappen was able to get out just before the end of Q2, and managed to qualify on the yellow tyre. A unique achievement for the mechanics and also for Verstappen, who set the lap and dived in on time with the problem. It wouldn't matter for the race in the end, as Verstappen would retire due to a spin after a sudden puncture.
