Full results Bahrain Grand Prix | Verstappen prevails, Alonso podium

The first Grand Prix of the year is over. Max Verstappen managed to win for the first time in his career in Bahrain. Sergio Perez completed the Red Bull Racing party by finishing second. Fernando Alonso was too fast for the Ferrari and Mercedes drivers and took a handsome podium finish.

Carlos Sainz was the only Ferrari driver in the points Sunday. Charles Leclerc seemed to secure a podium finish until his engine gave up the ghost. Sainz finished fourth, just ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Lance Stroll achieved sixth position with a broken wrist. George Russell, Valtteri Bottas, Pierre Gasly and Alexander Albon were the others in the top-ten.
