Horner takes gamble on Verstappen: 'I would put money on it'

Christian Horner is having a hard time suppressing his nervousness as we head towards the end of the World Championship. With Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton still having two races to go, every detail could be the decision. The Red Bull Racing team boss sees the Dutchman relaxing.
Hamilton tried to take Verstappen out of his concentration several times this season by stating that the driver of the Austrian racing stable would undoubtedly feel nervous. Verstappen himself, however, did not give a hoot and continued to fight for the championship on the track.
Horner admires Verstappen
That attitude from Verstappen made Horner feel proud. "Lewis continually drops his subtle little digs or provocations, but I think the great thing about Max is he doesn’t give a fuck," Horner stated in an interview with The Telegraph. "He is who he is. He drives a car fast. And then he wants to go home and play on his PlayStation. It’s as simple as that."
"Max drives like Tyson Fury fights. He’s got that same heart. You just know he’s going to give it everything and if you knock him down, he’s going to get back up. He’s got that burning desire, that all-out commitment. I would put money on Max’s first flying lap in Saudi Arabia being the fastest of any driver."
