Hamilton unsure about overtaking opportunities: 'Think it will be better'

Max Verstappen ended the first free practice session as the fastest driver, but Lewis Hamilton was unable to move into first place in the second free practice session. The seven-times world champion is still uncertain about his chances, partly due to the renewed circuit.
It was important for all drivers to rack up the mileage as the Abu Dhabi circuit has changed since last year. The Brit feels that the changes have made the track much more enjoyable, but he has already noticed that it is difficult to follow other cars. "I think it will be better than what we have seen in the past. If it's two cars that are very alike, then it [could be] different," the Mercedes driver told Sky Sports.
Not perfect yet
Hamilton wasn't entirely happy with his car in the first free practice session, but after some changes, the car was much better in the second free practice session. The Brit reveals that they will look at the data tonight to improve even more, but at the moment he is satisfied.
"We're all close, but we got through the sessions. There's still some unknown in terms of pace, but I'm sure it's going to be super close just like it has been in previous races. We'll look through the data and see where we can improve. We need to perfect it tonight and come back tomorrow."
