Coulthard sees great strength in Verstappen: 'Many guys do that'

Max Verstappen won the world title last Sunday in his sixth season with Red Bull Racing. According to David Coulthard, Verstappen's development is largely due to the years he has been around in Formula 1.
At a young age, Verstappen joined his father, who was racing in Formula 1 at the time. The Red Bull driver then impressed in karting, where he received a lot of help from his father. It gave Verstappen the extra support he needed to get the best out of himself.
Verstappen grew up quickly
Once he entered Formula 1 and started driving for Red Bull, Verstappen quickly decided to buy his own house in Monaco. Coulthard believes that his personal and track experiences helped Verstappen to quickly move into adulthood and learn what it's like to be on his own.
"I think the great thing about Max's development is that he really has his own life now, he's a man," Coulthard responded in an interview with Formule1.nl. "He has more life experience now. Many guys stay at home for a long time, but don't forget that Max has been on his own for quite a long time."
