Hamilton turns 37 today: will he break his long silence on his birthday?
- GPblog.com
Lewis Hamilton turned 37 today. Meanwhile, the Mercedes driver's prolonged silence continues. Will he break that silence today or stay away from social media even longer? Meanwhile, congratulations are pouring in for the seven-time Formula One champion.
Hamilton has his birthday and turns 37
A few days after Michael Schumacher's birthday, it is the turn of the person with whom he shares his record. Both drivers have won no less than seven Formula 1 championships, and there is currently a deafening silence around them. In the case of Schumacher, it will probably remain that way for the time being, but everyone is waiting for the moment when Hamilton breaks his prolonged silence.
The Mercedes driver is normally extremely active on social media, but since the defeat against Max Verstappen in the final round of the season no one has heard from the vice-champion.
Whether he will break that silence today remains to be seen. Hamilton does not seem to be ready to speak to the world yet and the moment he shows any sign of life he will be back in the spotlight.
