FIA shares update of timetable: sprint races have now been added
- GPblog.com
The FIA had previously published a schedule for the various Grand Prix weekends in 2022, but they have just posted a new version with the times of the sprint races on it.
Most of the changes are minor and mostly have to do with start and finish times. The biggest changes are seen at the three race weekends where sprint races are scheduled, namely in Italy, Austria and Brazil. The sprint races were not yet mentioned in the first schedule, but now they are also listed with start times. The sprint races will be held at 16:30 local time.
Other than that, the most important things remain the same. The races still start on whole hours and there are still three free practice sessions per race weekend if there is no sprint race scheduled. The racing season also still starts on 20 March and ends on 20 November.
