The second free practice session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is over and Charles Leclerc set the fastest time. Ferrari and Red Bull Racing were the fastest and Mercedes showed itself to be the third quickest team.

Leclerc fastest, Verstappen no free lap

It was once again Leclerc who was fast during the last practice session. Max Verstappen was more than one-tenth slower. It should be noted that due to traffic and flags, the Dutchman was repeatedly denied the chance to get the most out of his soft rubber during a fast lap. Red Bull Racing and Ferrari alternate at the top with the other two drivers Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz. This is followed by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

Most teams drove a solid practice session, in which few big surprises emerged in terms of times. Ferrari did stop practice early, as both drivers had a slight crash with the wall; nevertheless, they were fast and drove a good number of laps. For Kevin Magnussen, it was more concerning. The Dane also crashed out during this practice with problems with his engine or gearbox. In the end, after the flag was dropped, Yuki Tsunoda also retired because of a problem with his Red Bull Powertrain.
