Perez: 'Another straight fight with Ferrari on Saturday'

As the race continues as usual this weekend, there will be practice today and also qualifying for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Sergio Perez, after a busy Friday, thinks it will be exciting during qualifying.
Perez promises an exciting qualifying session
Perez drove a solid free practice session on Friday. The Formula 1 drivers managed to get through the sessions without causing too much trouble. Kevin Magnussen did drop out of both sessions due to engine and gearbox problems. The Ferrari's ended FP2 early because they hit a wall somewhere. All in all a different picture than Friday in Formula 2, where no less than five red flags were waved during the two sessions that only lasted 75 minutes together.
Perez like teammate Max Verstappen, thinks after Friday that Red Bull Racing should take on Ferrari again this weekend. The Mexican also promises an exciting qualification because of the traffic on the track. In a press statement Perez stated, "I think we got the data we needed, so now we have some work to do tonight. It was difficult to get the lap in I needed to see exactly how we will perform over one lap here because I had a lot of traffic out there. I think it could be another straight shootout with Ferrari on Saturday. It will be important in qualifying to make sure we get the space for a clean lap because traffic can be a bit difficult around here."
