After two races in a row, the Formula One circus cames to rest with a weekend off. In GPblog's F1 Social Stint, check out what drivers and teams are doing between the Grands Prix of Saudi Arabia and Australia.

The blue Alpine is back on the paddock

After two Grands Prix in pink, finally in Australia a blue Alpine car can be seen again. The pink tones are still present in the livery of the A522, but less so than in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Schumacher visits Australia Zoo

Mick Schumacher is still mainly known as the son of Michael Schumacher. The legendary Formula 1 driver with seven world titles to his name. Prior to the Australian Grand Prix, Mick visited the Australia Zoo where he met Robert Irwin. Irwin, like Mick, is also the son of a legend. His dad is former Australian television presentor Steve Irwin. Irwin senior tragically died from the sting of a stingray while filming one of his documentaries in 2006, but son Robert and the family continue his legacy.

Ferrari looks forward to new battle with Red Bull

The first two Grands Prix of the season saw fine battles between Ferrari and Red Bull Racing. If it is up to Ferrari, those battles will continue in Australia. "Let the battles continue", the Italian team writes on Twitter with a photo of team bosses Christian Horner and Mattia Binotto. We sincerely hope the team of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz is right.

Leclerc early on in Australia for track lap

Normally, Formula One drivers walk around the track the day before the F1 weekend starts, but Charles Leclerc left for Melbourne a little earlier. A video on his Instagram page shows him already doing a reconnaissance lap of Albert Park. With the changes to the track that may not be a luxury.

Ricciardo takes new path with 'own brand'

Daniel Ricciardo presents his own wine in a new video on his social channels. The DR3 2 and the Ricciardo Decanter the Australian designed together with St Hugo and is now available in Australia. Those who visit the GP can therefore look for the real Ricciardo wine.

Which Daniel Ricciardo are you?

Daniel Ricciardo is known for his distinctive facial expressions. Especially for his eternal wide smile, but as McLaren shows, multiple emojis can be linked to their driver's facial expressions. Which Ricciardo are you?

Impressive images of Hamilton's clear visor

An additional advantage of night racing is the clear visor the drivers use. This sometimes creates impressive footage where you can look the drivers straight in their eyes and read the concentration on their faces. Just like in this example of Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen looks forward to Australian GP

No Formula 1 this weekend, but Max Verstappen can't wait for the Australian Grand Prix next week. After his victory in Jeddah, he is looking forward to the race in Melbourne, where F1 is set to return after a two-year absence.

Tifosi photoshopped golfing Sainz

It is a week without a Grand Prix and Ferrari has therefore asked its fans to photoshop driver Carlos Sainz. For the sake of convenience, Ferrari has already cut the Spaniard out and pasted him on a green screen. The internet tinkerers have gone wild at home!

Red Bull Racing happy with Vettel's return

Red Bull Racing still has a good feeling about Vettel, as the German's former employer said on Twitter that they are happy with his return. It's not surprising, as together they won everything there was to win in Formula 1 between 2010 and 2013.

F1 drivers very happy about Grand Prix in Las Vegas

The news that there will be a Grand Prix on the streets of Las Vegas has pleased the drivers. On Thursday morning, Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon and Lando Norris posted a positive tweet about the third race in America. They still have to wait a while, though, as the race is not on the calendar until November 2023.
