Norris restless: 'I don't want to get used to this situation at all'

Several Formula 1 connoisseurs expected at the beginning of the season that McLaren could compete for the top prizes in 2022. After two races, however, the racing team is only on six points, which puts them in eighth place in the Constructors' Championship. Lando Norris is very concerned about the performance.
The Brit was responsible for all the points his team has after the Grands Prix of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Where his teammate Daniel Ricciardo is still not at all comfortable in the season with a fourteenth place and a retirement, Norris did a fraction better with a fifteenth and seventh place.
Norris hoping for quick improvement
However, the talented driver had also hoped that McLaren could finish in the top five every race and is therefore not at all satisfied with how things are going at the moment. He is working hard behind the scenes with his team to find a solution, but it doesn't look like the formation can close the gap with Red Bull Racing and Ferrari any time soon.
"I don't want to get used to this situation at all," Norris stated in conversation with Formulapassion.it. "I know it's just my job to make the best of it. Of course, it hurts and it's painful to know that you can push yourself to the limit and still end up thirteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth or whatever."
