Hamilton proud of family: 'Without them I wouldn't be here today'

Lewis Hamilton, with his seven world titles won, is along with Michael Schumacher the most successful driver of all time. The Briton, who is working on a documentary himself, does not rule out having a biographical film made about himself in the future.
In doing so, Hamilton looks to tennis players Venus and Serena Williams who previously decided to bring such a film to the world stage. It turned out to be a golden move. After the Mercedes driver saw the film, he thought to himself that he could also have the film made about his own life. According to Hamilton, not only is he interesting to follow, his family would also fit in well.
"Behind everyone that's successful there is always somebody," Hamilton stated to Formula1.com. "And I can relate to it because I have a very amazing family who, without them, I would not be here today. And I hope at some stage, I'll be able to do something similar… I think it's inspiring for families out there."
Hamilton has it tough at Mercedes
Meanwhile, Hamilton is pretty worried about the qualities of the Mercedes he has at his disposal this year. Whereas he still secured third place in Bahrain partly due to the eliminated Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, in Saudi Arabia he was enough for the tenth final spot.
