Sergio Perez finds Friday practice "challenging"

8 April 2022 at 08:50

Sergio Perez finished free practice two in fifth, behind both Ferraris, his teammate and Alpine's Fernando Alonso. The Mexican will be looking to improve throughout FP3 before Qualifying as he admits he found the session "challenging"

Perez needs to make a couple changes

The polesitter in Saudi Arabia had this to say when speaking to Sky Sports "We did some changes into this afternoon that we need to analyse. A few things not working as expected. A difficult day in terms of mileage but we have good data for tonight."

"Plenty to work on to try and understand the direction we've taken. We're talking about a few tenths. We have to understand where we are, we don't understand what's going on with the car at the moment" added the Red Bull driver, as he hopes that he can catch the top of the grid, close the gap and grasps his first podium of the season come Sunday.
