It was a very unsuccessful day for Sebastian Vettel's side of the Aston Martin garage. After he suffered "power unit issues" in FP1, his car didn't manage to get out on track for FP2, as the mechanics worked to try and fix the car's issues.

Tough start for Vettel

The four-time world champion hasn't competed in a race this season yet, after contracting COVID before Bahrain, and still being positive over the Saudi Arabian weekend, he's yet to take the 2022 car out on track in a qualifying or race format, the German had this to say to Sky Sports. "I haven't been in the car for a while plus the track is different. It would be fine tomorrow, but you know would have been nice to get more laps". Although the German is confident that the issue shouldn't affect him for the rest of the weekend, and shouldn't bring up any penalties
