Verstappen jealous of Ferrari: "We're not at that level yet"

Once again it looks like we are going to see a battle at the top between Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. For the third Grand Prix of the year to be held in Australia, Charles Leclerc is the favorite, but Max Verstappen is very close on his heels.
The times of the Red Bull and Ferrari drivers are close together. Looking at the long runs there is also little difference between the two leading teams. Verstappen and Leclerc will most likely face each other again in Melbourne on the Albert Park Circuit. Because of the renewed track, finding the right balance is very interesting. Verstappen says that his team has tried a lot on Friday.
Red Bull not on the same level as Ferrari
Talking to Stephane Kox of Viaplay the Dutchman says: "Of course you try to understand the car better again. That was a bit more difficult today in the beginning. We had a lot of oversteer. Also with that new asphalt and with that new car you just have to try a lot of things and that's what we did today. Fortunately that went in the right direction as well."
The Limburger defeated his rival last time out in Saudi Arabia after a spectacular fight and is therefore again looking keenly at the rival team: "You see that Ferrari is always there. That's a challenge for us, because we're not at that level yet; that we can just easily compete."
From Verstappen's statement, it can be concluded that Red Bull has had a bit of luck, because what they tried happened to work out well this weekend so far.
