Verstappen takes dig at Hamilton: 'Not all horrific right?'

Max Verstappen managed to lap Lewis Hamilton at the Imola Grand Prix. Although the Dutchman understands that Hamilton is having a hard time, he lashed out at his former rival in an interview with The Telegraph.
Already, Verstappen indicated that he did not immediately enjoy overtaking Hamilton, although he still has the blistering 2021 season on his mind. "I had great battles with Lewis last year. Now he's in a car which is not so great," the reigning world champion analyzed.
Verstappen gives firm criticism of Hamilton
Verstappen understands that it is difficult for Hamilton to perform with his current car, but at the same time finds it remarkable that George Russell does manage to compete in the midfield. "Of course, George does finish fourth in that car. So, it [the W13] is not all horrific right?"
The Red Bull driver believes that Hamilton's car in Imola had more speed than the drivers around him, so the seven-time world champion should be able to end up in the points. Verstappen gives Russell a big compliment for that, as the Brit did manage to perform well.
