Verstappen is ready for Monaco: 'It's insane!'

The confidence of Max Verstappen is high after the three victories in a row that he booked in recent weeks. The Dutchman is therefore looking positively towards next weekend's Grand Prix in Monaco.
Since the race in Imola, Verstappen has been catching up in a big way. The reigning world champion even managed to go over his rival Charles Leclerc in the world championship at the GP in Spain, making him the new frontrunner. In Monaco, another new challenge awaits him.
"Monaco is always a hectic but special weekend," he told Red Bull Racing's preview. "Qualifying is critical, the track is very old school and narrow, your heart rate goes so high, it’s insane! We have to constantly be on the edge, it’s a pretty crazy track with Formula One cars."
Verstappen hopes for the same race as in 2021
His history in Monaco was previously not good, until his win last year. "There was a massive relief once I crossed the line, I was very happy to win that race. Checo and I are working really well as a Team and it is of course great that we are leading the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships."
