Christian Horner believes that rain could play a key role during the Monaco Grand Prix. In that case, the strategy will determine the outcome of the race.

"Normally, it would be a one stop race but there is weather around. It will all be about strategy. I will be amazed if any of the front runs start on the softs, someone at the rear might take a risk", Horner tells Sky Sports.

This morning it still looked like it would only rain after the finish, but by now the first raindrops have fallen on the circuit. The blue sky has been replaced by dark clouds.

Verstappen faces tough race

Max Verstappen hopes that it will rain during the race in Monaco, otherwise he will not be able to do much from P4. On the narrow street circuit of Monte Carlo, overtaking is extremely difficult, so the Dutchman will have to hope for a number of safety cars and maybe even a red flag.
