Verstappen goes for rematch in Baku: "We have some unfinished business"

Max Verstappen was proudly leading the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix when disaster struck in the final stages of the race. A blowout saw him crash hard into the wall, after which his victory went up in smoke. As a result, the Red Bull Racing driver has "unfinished business" in Baku.
Verstappen has unfinished business in Baku
Verstappen is looking forward to returning to Baku, where he hopes to get revenge. "We have some unfinished business after last year," he says in a Red Bull Racing press release.
He calls the Baku City Circuit a tricky circuit, due to its large braking zones and tight run-off lanes. Moreover, his team faces another challenge in finding the right setup. "Finding the best set up for the car will be difficult in terms of making sure we get the correct wing level," continued the Dutchman.
He also hopes that Red bull can improve its performance over one lap and thus set a stronger qualifying record, as so far Ferrari excel in that area.
Verstappen happy with Perez contract extension
Finally, he expresses his pleasure at the contract extension of Sergio Perez, who will remain with the team until at least the end of 2024. "It’s great that Checo has signed a contract extension with the team, it’s nice to have the continuity and I get on really well with him," said the reigning world champion.
