Horner has message for Perez and Verstappen: 'Work well together'
- GPblog.com
Once upon a time, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen collided in Baku after being involved in a fierce battle. With Verstappen and Sergio Perez battling for the world title, something like this could just happen again during a race where overtaking is possible.
Good position
Team boss Christian Horner, however, is clear at SkySports: he preaches real teamwork. "The most important thing for us today is to work well collectively as a team. Ferrari have been strong the last few races, our drivers are in good positions."
Still, there is a danger, Horner sees. "We're in a Ferrari sandwich and strategy will play a crucial role. Safety cars you can't predict you can get lucky or unlucky with that so you have to be on your toes."
Overtaking?
Overtaking is possible, but the power ratio between Ferrari and Red Bull is small: "I think you have to be close enough through turn 16, but the Ferrari is strong in the middle sector so we have to get within the DRS coming onto the straight. It's going to be one of those races, a bit like Jeddah."
