The British Grand Prix is set to continue the battle between Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. Although the Austrian racing team is in excellent form, Ralf Schumacher expects Ferrari to come back into the fray.
After a strong start to the season, the Italian racing team has had a down period. Recently, however, Ferrari has been trying with several updates to improve the car's performance and get close to rival Red Bull again. Schumacher sees a clear change, he told RTL Deutschland.
"Ferrari and Red Bull will probably be very close again. I can imagine that Ferrari with Leclerc and the right low-downforce set-up can be very strong," Schumacher said. "But they still don't have the race pace compared to Red Bull. The deciding factor in the next races will be the updates."

While Red Bull opted to stay indoors during the first free practice session in rainy conditions, both teams were on the track a few hours later. Carlos Sainz took the win, while Charles Leclerc finished on P5. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez had to settle for fourth and seventh respectively.
