Marko with advice for Verstappen: 'Make no mistakes and keep the tyres alive'.

Helmut Marko believes a strategy change in qualifying ultimately allowed Max Verstappen to beat the Ferrari's at the Red Bull Ring. Verstappen had a different approach to his very last lap of Friday's race in Austria.
Speaking to the German branch of Sky, Marko revealed that it was deliberate for Verstappen to score yellow twice in Sector 1 and Sector 2 in his final run. "Before, we were much faster there, but then we had almost no tyres left for the last sector. We were using the rubber too much and changed that a bit."
Tips from Marko
At Red Bull, they might not have expected Ferrari to be so close in Spielberg. Marko therefore also expects it to be "very, very exciting". The Austrian team's advisor will be keen to impress Verstappen and Sergio Perez with the following tonight. "Drive without mistakes and keep the tyres alive."
For Red Bull, thanks to Verstappen's good qualifying, the sprint race weekend is an excellent opportunity to run even further ahead of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in the world championship. On Saturday, the winner is credited with eight points, the runner-up with seven points and the number of points earned decreases by one each time.
