After Saturday's sprint race and the necessary adjustments to the cars of Valtteri Bottas and Fernando Alonso, the final starting grid for Sunday's Grand Prix is finally known. Nothing changes up front, Max Verstappen will start from pole after his victory on Saturday.

Perez can support Verstappen

As on Saturday, Verstappen can expect an immediate attack from the two Ferraris. Charles Leclerc occupies P2 with teammate Carlos Sainz behind him on P3. Sainz will share the second row of the grid with George Russell. Sergio Perez will go straight into the attack from P5 to help teammate Verstappen.

Perez is not expected to have to look much to the rear. Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen are normally unable to keep up with Red Bull Racing's pace. Lewis Hamilton could do so from P8 on a good day, but for now the Mercedes doesn't seem fast enough at the Red Bull Ring.

Bottas from the pits

At the back, the only changes have been made. Alonso was penalised for changing his engine, but had to start from the back after missing out on Saturday's race, while Valtteri Bottas will start the Austrian Grand Prix from the pit lane after several adjustments to his Alfa Romeo.
