Bad qualifying for Red Bull
Saturday's qualifying session was a nightmare for Red Bull Racing. Sergio Perez failed to finish Q2 and will start from P11 on Sunday, while Verstappen suffered an engine problem in his final run in Q3. As a result, the Dutchman was unable to fight for pole position. The Red Bull drivers will need to move quickly up front on Sunday to have a chance of victory.
For Mercedes, the qualifying was surprising, because Russell managed to take pole position. Lewis Hamilton will start from seventh position. The team is expected to have to defend hard as Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will put a lot of pressure on the Brit from P2 and P3.
Weather conditions are expected to be dry
Lando Norris is doing good business for McLaren, as the driver finished fourth in qualifying and will start from the second row. The Briton was able to place his car ahead of rival Alpine, and with Daniel Ricciardo on P9, the two teams will once again be battling it out.
The race is expected to remain dry, although rain may fall before the Grand Prix gets underway. However, there is a chance that the drivers will have to start on a wet track.
