Final starting grid GP Hungary | Russell in front, Verstappen P10
- GPblog.com
George Russell will start the race in Hungary from pole position on Sunday afternoon. The Briton has Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc behind him, giving him a tough task to actually qualify for a win.
Red Bull Racing did not fare as well in qualifying. Sergio Perez's adventure came to an end in Q2 and he will start the race from 11th. Max Verstappen suddenly experienced power problems in the final session and had to settle for tenth.
Both drivers will get a new engine in their car before the race. As it is still within the maximum allowed, they will not be penalised. Pierre Gasly, however, will start from the pit lane.

Latifi and Vettel back in the back
Nicholas Latifi put in an excellent performance in the third free practice session, but a few hours later his performance in qualifying was less impressive. He will start from 19th on the grid. Sebastian Vettel, who this week announced he would retire from Formula 1, will start from P18 in Hungary.
