'Schumacher in big trouble: Haas departure imminent'
- GPblog.com
Mick Schumacher must fear for his place at Haas, says Joe Saward on social media. According to the Formula 1 journalist, the driver is under a lot of pressure within his team and he might be in his last season with the American team.
Last season, Schumacher experienced his first year in Formula 1. With Haas, however, he had a car at his disposal in which it was hardly possible to compete with other teams. As a result, he and his teammate Nikita Mazepin were left without any points at the end of the season.
In the new year, Schumacher hoped to put things right. After a difficult start to the season, the driver has twelve points at the halfway point, ten points less than Kevin Magnussen. It would not help confidence in him.

Schumacher under pressure at Haas
Although Haas continues to express its confidence in the talent to the media, Saward claims otherwise. The journalist states that it is possible that Haas will announce Schumacher's departure this year. Unless Williams shows an interest in him, this would mean the end of him in Formula 1 for the time being.
