Red Bull Racing travels to the Netherlands this week with a good feeling. The Austrian formation was able to convince in Belgium with a victory for Max Verstappen and second place for Sergio Perez, which gave the team a lot of confidence for the race weekend in Zandvoort. According to Christian Horner, Red Bull has some special days coming up.

Although the coronavirus prevented all spectators from entering the Zandvoort circuit last season, it was already a big party. The fans saw Verstappen take victory in 2021 and take another step towards his first world title.

This season, Verstappen arrives at Zandvoort with a different feeling. Whereas he managed to win the world championship last year, he is now almost a hundred points ahead of his competitors this year.

Pressure on Verstappen during Dutch GP

With eight races to go there seems to be little more that can go wrong for Red Bull. However, the team is trying not to be distracted by anything and is therefore focusing on the next race. Speaking to Viaplay, Horner points to the pressure that comes with racing in the Netherlands for Verstappen.

"Zandvoort is one of the highlights for us with a lot of support for Max," Horner told the medium. "That brings a lot of pressure, but he can handle it." Next weekend should show whether Verstappen is capable of taking victory again this year.
