Ricciardo gives big hint about future racing career

Daniel Ricciardo is currently without an F1 seat from 2023 and it does not look like he will get one. On the Friday of the Dutch Grand Prix, however, Ricciardo did come up with an interesting hint about his future.
Ricciardo to continue with McLaren in Indycar?
On July 4, Ricciardo posted a message on Instagram saying he would race for McLaren for at least two more years. The McLaren F1 chiefs denied this statement and it turned out not to be true either when the team announced Oscar Piastri as his replacement this afternoon.
At Zandvoort, where GPBlog.com is also present, the Australian gave an interesting hint about his future in conversation with the media. Namely, the Australian seems to be heading to IndyCar. "Independence day? [July 4] U.S.A., U.S.A.," Ricciardo said, laughing. It could well be that Ricciardo's 4th of July Instagram post was referring to a continuation of his IndyCar partnership with McLaren. The team is also active there and the driver has previously been linked with a seat in the American racing class.
