Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto has a clear response to Nico Rosberg's critical comments that it is high time the Italian stable made some changes to its staffing levels. In response to that suggestion, Binotto says he certainly has no intention of doing so, adding that Rosberg is 'easy to talk to' from the comfort of his armchair.

Rosberg claimed that Formula 2 and 3 teams perform even better than Ferrari on strategy after Ferrari made yet another blunder during a pit stop. Moreover, since the Belgian Grand Prix, the German has seen a marked decline in the Italian team's performance. He suggested that some much-needed changes need to be made.

Binotto does not want to make changes

Binotto does not agree at all with the former Mercedes driver's criticism and states that it is easy to judge from your armchair. "We will not change people, that's a straight answer to Rosberg," the Ferrari team boss told Sky Sports firmly. "What is more important is simply the stability and making sure you're improving race by race. We have a great team, I have no doubt about that."

Binotto admitted after the GP at Zandvoort that his team are not using the car's full potential and stressed that Ferrari need to take a good look at exactly where things are going wrong. The mistake during Carlos Sainz 's pit stop is not his biggest concern, as the team boss believes that is something that can be worked on. "I'm less concerned of that than the pace of the car," Binotto said.
