24 Grands Prix in 37 weeks: this how many kilometers F1 will travel in '23!

The year 2023 promises to break records. Never before in history there have been 24 Grands Prix scheduled in a single season. If everything goes as planned - the Grand Prix in China is still uncertain due to the pandemic - a hellish schedule awaits the teams. In 37 weeks times will be criss-crossed around the world.
As known since last Tuesday, the intense 2023 season kicks off on 5 March in Bahrain. Five races are already scheduled within eight weeks, taking the whole circus to Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. In short, quite a few air miles await the paddock.
Considerable distance
The entire season will be finished within 37 weeks. AutoHebdo had done the maths and worked out how many kilometres will be covered in total. In doing so, the French magazine assumes the distance from one Grand Prix to the next. Don't be alarmed: then the teams have no less than 133,570 kilometres ahead of them. In reality, it is much more, as the calculation does not take into account that the drivers also fly home.
Liberty Media had previously indicated that it would regionalise the Grands Prix as much as possible, so that the number of travel kilometres could be kept somewhat under control. In practice, little has come of this.
