Sergio Perez knows that a tougher-than-normal task awaits him in the United States. This is because the Mexican will be moved back five places on the grid on Sunday due to an engine change. Nevertheless, 'Checo' looks back on Friday with satisfaction.

Perez expectations

"We got good information during FP1 so, hopefully tomorrow after not being able to gain as much in FP2 due to the tyre test, we will be able to get everything right and have a decent qualifying session," Perez said in Red Bull Racing's press release.

Perez knows that a good qualifying is going to be essential for his chances in Austin, due to the five-place grid penalty he received for changing his ICE. "I believe we can go well around this circuit and have a strong pace through the weekend," the Mexican informed.

Red Bull constructors' title

Things could be extra festive for Red Bull in Texas, as the team could clinch the constructors' title. To do so, the Austrian team needs to have a lead of at least 147 points over Ferrari after the race at the Circuit of the Americas.
