"In 2023, Red Bull will definitely be the team to beat"

According to Ralf Schumacher, Red Bull Racing can enter a new era after winning their first constructors' title since 2013. However, Michael Schumacher's brother does hold out hope that Ferrari and Mercedes can rejoin the battle for world titles in 2023.
Max Verstappen won the United States Grand Prix and, according to Schumacher, the Dutchman has been making a difference all season. "Even in the difficult stages, he always made the most of his package," Schumacher said in his column for Sky Sports Deutschland. He therefore calls the fact that Verstappen managed to win 13 of the first 19 races in 2022 impressive.
Red Bull ushers in new era
For the first time in eight years, it is not Mercedes that runs away with the constructors' title, but Red Bull. According to Schumacher, Red Bull can now start shaping a new era. "That is also a bit of a problem in Formula 1. Once the leadership is there and we have the cost limit, it is difficult for other teams to catch up," Schumacher believes.
"I am hopeful that Ferrari can make life much harder for Red Bull next year and Mercedes is also on the rise again," said Schumacher. Despite Ferrari and Mercedes making strides, Schumacher knows one thing for sure: "In 2023, Red Bull will definitely be the team to beat."
