Vettel does not rule out return to Formula 1: "I can't"

Sebastian Vettel is working on the last Grands Prix of his career. The four-time world champion will bid farewell to Aston Martin after this season, after which he will disappear from Formula 1. Although the driver is fully behind his choice, he does not want to rule out a return.
The German was very successful in the motorsport class in the past. At Red Bull Racing, he experienced his best period by winning four world titles in a row. The last two years he was active for Aston Martin, with which he managed significantly less.
Vettel is quite proud of his career, but does not want to show that too much. " I have no pictures of myself on the wall at home and no trophies on display," Vettel told Der Spiegel. "I have many other interests that I look forward to. And at home with three children it never gets boring anyway."
Vettel on future in motorsport
For now, the driver is keeping in the middle what he will do after this season. Whereas he is resigned to Formula 1 in his right mind, he does not want to establish, in conversation with the German medium, that he will never return to the sport.
"I can't. I don't know how I will be in a year or two. But I hope that in two years' time I will still be saying: 'No thanks, I don't need to race again'," said Vettel, who is 11th in the world championship with 23 points ahead of teammate Lance Stroll.
