Charles Leclerc is in his fourth season at Ferrari. In his first two years with the Italian formation, the Monegasque worked alongside four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel from whom he learnt some important lessons.
Leclerc made his Formula 1 debut for Sauber in 2018 and immediately impressed. Whereas his teammate Marcus Ericsson brought in just nine points for the squad, Leclerc managed to rack up a whopping 39 points.

In doing so, he attracted the attention of Ferrari which decided to bring him in. For Leclerc, it was a dream come true as Vettel was still under contract with the Italians. During the first few months, several things immediately caught his eye, he told Motorsport-magazin.com.
"When I came from Alfa Romeo, I arrived casually in the morning and he had already been in the office for an hour and a half. The first time, I wondered: why is he doing this? What does he need so much time for?" cites Leclerc as an example. The driver then found out that Vettel is simply a hard worker.
"Now I arrive quite early and leave very late," states Max Verstappen 's rival proudly. "The more I talk to him, the more I see that there are little details I didn't pay attention to in the beginning, but he did. That has made a difference."
