Regular visitors have probably already noticed: GPblog recently got a fresh new look. While change is often a good thing, we fully understand that it may take some getting used to for some of you. In fact, we’re aware that certain things are not yet working as they should. We find that just as frustrating as you do, so we’d like to explain what’s going on — and how we are fixing it.

Why this transition?

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had to switch to a new publishing platform at lightning speed. Normally, such a transition would take months of preparation, testing, and fine-tuning — but unfortunately, we didn’t have that luxury. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the migration had to happen in a very short timeframe.

This has inevitably led to some startup issues. We would have preferred to avoid them, but with the ongoing F1 season in full swing, taking the site offline wasn’t a realistic option.

What might you be experiencing?

Some users have reported:

  1. The newly introduced dark mode conflicts with bright banners
  2. Certain buttons (such as login or comment) are not functioning properly
  3. That the password reset is not working properly yet for all of the user.

We take these signals seriously. Behind the scenes, our team is working hard to get everything running smoothly again. Some issues have already been resolved, and others will be fixed in the coming days.

What can you expect from us?

  1. We will continue improving step by step, with readability and user experience as our top priorities
  2. We will soon provide clarity about any remaining bugs or issues
  3. We will keep communicating transparently — even about what’s not yet perfect

Have you noticed anything that could be improved? Please let us know! Just send an email to info[@]gpblog.com.

Thank you for your patience.

We are proud of how far GPblog has come — thanks to you. This phase is exciting, sometimes frustrating, but also a great opportunity to make the platform even better. Together with you.
