Max Verstappen can continue his record-hunting in Brazil. The two-time world champion has now grabbed 14 wins this season, and of course he wants to add a 15th win at Interlagos.
Verstappen is happy to be back at Interlagos for several reasons. He likes the layout, but also the atmosphere and history that prevails at the circuit. "The fans love Formula 1, lot of passion goes into it. We love coming here," he said during the press conference on Sky Sports.
Verstappen on the hunt for fifteenth win
The Red Bull Racing driver will be hunting for his fifteenth win of the season in Brazil, while the team could score a tenth win in a row, possibly approaching McLaren's record. Apart from a win, he has been on the podium several times at Interlagos. "Winning was an amazing feeling but being on the podium is super nice," Verstappen continued.
As for his chances of a second win at Interlagos, the two-time world champion is clear: "I think we have a good chance, the car is quick and I think this track should be good for us, I'm excited and we'll try to win."
