Lando Norris has enjoyed working with Andreas Seidl in recent years, he reveals on social media. The British driver had a good time with the former team boss and therefore thanks him for his work.
The German took the helm at McLaren in early 2019. At the time, Norris had finished a season as a reserve driver and was entering the job as a regular driver for the first time. It earned him a number of years in which he showed marked growth.
Where Norris scored 49 points in his first season, he managed to pick up 97 and 160 points respectively in the years that followed. This calendar year, the talented driver was less successful than in 2021, but nevertheless he kept a positive feeling about the year.
Farewell Andreas! It's been mega working with you these last few years. I've never seen our team looking as strong as it is now and some of that is credit to the work you've done. Best of luck in the new job mate, I’m sure I’ll see you around. pic.twitter.com/pOvKW4X9ua
