World Cup final causes division among Formula One drivers

Several Formula 1 drivers looked tense after the World Cup final in Qatar. Argentina and France provided a spectacle in Lusail, but also mixed reactions among Formula 1 drivers.
F1 drivers follow World Cup football
Among the Formula 1 drivers, there are fans of several football countries. Although no Argentine is active in F1, some fans of Lionel Messi's team could be found. Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, and Fernando Alonso, for example, were there to congratulate the other Spanish-speaking.

For French drivers, it was a less enjoyable evening. Pierre Gasly was present in the stadium on the night of the lost final, while Esteban Ocon and former F1 driver Romain Grosjean expressed their disappointment, but did not forget to mention that they were proud of their compatriots' performance.
