Will Vasseur succeed at Ferrari? 'He will be working on that'

Frederic Vasseur has a good chance of succeeding at Ferrari in the coming years, according to Carlo Vanzini. The commentator tells Sky Sports Italia. According to the Italian, with his experience, Mattia Binotto 's successor has enough baggage to mould the formation to his liking.
By recruiting the Frenchman, Ferrari is bringing in a lot of knowledge and leadership. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen for now whether Vasseur will be able to repeat his previous achievements at Ferrari. Vanzini does not think this will pose any problems for the French team boss.
"He is always present in the paddock, never shy, always ready for a chat and answers. He provides fear or respect," Vanzini stated. "He will probably already be working. He is not working on the car because they are already working on that. He will be working on the hierarchy and getting to know the people who are already there."
Todt's assignment was tougher
Previous Ferrari team bosses, however, know that it is tough work at the Italian racing stable. The pressure is considerable every year and expectations are high. After all, the last world title dates back to 2007, when Kimi Raikkonen was the winner. Vasseur will be the first French team boss after Jean Todt in 2009, which is why Vanzini draws the comparison.
"Vasseur has more experience, while Todt inherited a dramatic situation. The first thing Todt did was to get everyone around the car and say: 'Let's all work together, no matter who is arguing. We have to improve this car quickly.' It took Todt a long time, but the situation was disastrous."
