The news surrounding Andretti racing continues to move fast. The latest news is Andretti joining hands with US-based Cadillac, with both 'companies' able to make an F1 debut.
Andretti breaks F1 gates together with Cadillac
Both Michael and Mario Andretti have spoken positively about the Andretti F1 project in recent weeks. Although the entry of an eleventh F1 team is not welcomed by the FIA and by the current F1 teams, the Andretti's still seem to be very confident that they will be on the F1 grid sooner or later. For instance, while there is a big backer behind the Americans who can take away the money worries of the other teams, there is now also an ambitious partner who wants to join Andretti in breaking open the gate of F1.
Earlier this week, car brand Cadillac was added to the list Ford, Hyundai and Porsche. All four car brands are said to be interested in joining Formula 1. Together with Cadillac, Andretti will become a US-based super team that the FIA may no longer be able to stop. Together, the two big names in the car (sports) world could open the F1 gate.
