Still room for growth for Verstappen? 'He might not thank me for that'

2022 was a record-breaking season for Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen, but chief engineer Paul Monaghan, like Dr Helmut Marko, thinks the Dutchman is not out of the woods yet. So there is still room for growth for Verstappen.
In 2022 perfect Verstappen could be even better
In another interview, Red Bull team advisor Marko said he is not worried about next year's championship; Red Bull may have suffered a hefty deduction in wind tunnel time, but Max Verstappen is capable of putting everything right again. Indeed, the Austrian expects the driver to be just a little bit better in 2023 than last year, the year he took his second F1 title in a row.
Monaghan seems to agree wholeheartedly with Marko. Speaking to F1.com the Brit called the Dutchman stunningly good, but added: "Can he still improve? Yes, of course he can. He might not thank me for that. I think there are aspects where he can get a bit better. He will dig deep and think about what he can do even better in a season."
