Red Bull and Heineken decide to strengthen ties for 2023
- GPblog.com
Red Bull Racing welcomes Dutch company Heineken as its official team partner. While it could already be found as a sponsor in the garages since 2021, the two parties will go a step further this calendar year by intensifying their collaboration.
Heineken has not chosen to enter into such a partnership in motorsport in the past, but so this year it is making the move. The company's name can be found, among other things, on the new helmet that Verstappen will wear this season.
Earlier in the afternoon, it was revealed that Verstappen and EA Sports will join forces. It ensures that its name will also be found on his helmet next season.
Heineken signed on as a sponsor for Red Bull in 2021, however the branding was only ever seen in the garages. https://t.co/4MZJOGRqsB

New helmets and racing overalls
The two-time world champion will walk around the circuits in 2023 wearing a different helmet from previous years. In the past, Verstappen still chose many gold accents, but the new version features the colours of the Dutch flag, among others.
